Last week, we filed an Emergency Request for Precautionary Measures with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (“IACHR”) on behalf of parents systematically separated from their children at the United States-Mexico border.
We represent five parents and their young children who were separated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials (“CBP”) in South Texas. Right now, we’re assisting five families torn apart by Trump, but there are hundreds more we have not reached. We are working to send advocates to the border to interview as many parents as possible, but to do that, we need your help. Help us fight back.
Any gift you can make would go a long way towards covering the expenses necessary to reunite these families.
