I’m angry and you should be too

I’m a lifelong Texan and a lifelong fighter for the rights of my community.
And I’m angry. Angry that state officials in our home are still hell-bent on pursuing an agenda of hate and discrimination that targets our most vulnerable communities.
These attacks and hostility extend towards those fighting for us, like the good people at the Texas Civil Rights Project. TCRP abruptly lost a significant amount of their funding because they’ve been a thorn in the side of Texas officials advancing hate.
Today only, I will match contributions up to $1,000 because I believe in TCRP’s work. Will you contribute to TCRP so that they can continue the fight to protect and expand civil rights?
I’m standing up and I ask that you join me. Together we can replace TCRP’s lost funding and ensure we can continue the hard work of transforming our state into a home where everyone is included.
